this is the basic tapioka pudding recipe. easy, fast and yummy. i eat this when i have a craving for a warm sweet dish like rice pudding.
serving is for 1 serving (i guess lol)
1/2 Cup Tapioka Pearls
1 Cup any kind of liquid you like, here i put in coconut milk. you can also substitute half a a cup liquid with fruit puree. add more liquid if needed.
Combine both ingredients and cook it on medium to low high temperature until the pearls are soft and the pudding gets soft and sticky. this takes about 10-20 min regarding to the amount of liquid and the temperature.
serve it hot or cold with any kind of fruit purees, sauces, chopped fruits or whatever u like.
i topped it with Mango Puree and a mix of cinnamon and sugar substitude.
YUM YUM YUUUUUUUUM
hope you enjoy!!!

Food Watch: Tapioka / Sago
Tapioka or also called Sago is a starch extracted from the Yuca Palm.
Its mostly used for Puddings and sweet dishes but you can also use Tapioka as a sauce thickener, in drinks, as flour for baking, ect ect.
Tapioka is gluten free
its almost tasteless and i usually use it for my "rice pudding" instead of rice. most of you will know them as those disgusting bubble tea bubbles ;)
recipes will follow;)

Protein Powder
I use raw protein powder in shakes, in bakery goods, in my porridge, as a topping ect.
i used to buy the cheap protein powders from the supermarket but i found some more healthy raw versions where u can benefit better. i use them sometimes to replace a meal for weight loss or just add it for flavor and protein kicks. the raw and organic versions don't have any artifical stuff in it and are plant based.
here are my favorite ones

Quinoa is a awesome, healthy and delicious alternative to rice. its just as easy to cook as rice and great for low carb diets. Quinoa is a good source of dietary fiber and phosphorus and is high in magnesium and iron. Quinoa is also a source of calcium, and thus is a good substiture for meat for vegans and those who are lactose intolerant. Quinoa is gluten-free and easy to digest.
You also can get:
Quinoa Flour
Quinoa Flakes
Quinoa Breakfast Flakes
